Kim Paul is the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing of the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corporation (KTSC), a private, not-for-profit corporation that has contracts with Knoxville and Knox County to strengthen the area economy by marketing Knoxville as a destination for conventions, events and leisure travel.

Within KTSC, Paul's responsibilities include maintaining the overall day-to-day goals of the sales, marketing & service objectives. She is the liaison for KTSC with the Knoxville Convention Center (KCC) and Knoxville properties. Her teams within KTSC solicit conventions for Knoxville, secure all marketing placement for the City/County of Knoxville and then service the conventions upon entering Knoxville to make sure the experience lives up to what is sold.

Paul is a 1994 graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Marketing. Her hospitality career began in college at the Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff and upon graduation she transitioned her career to the Holiday Inn Select Downtown and the Hyatt Knoxville (now the Knoxville Marriott) in operations and sales before moving to the next level of destination sales. Employed by the Knoxville Convention & Visitor's Bureau (now the KTSC) since 2001, she has advanced from Sales Manager to Director of Sales to Vice President of Sales and currently is the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

Paul's 15+ years of experience in hotels, venues and destination marketing has made her a perfect fit for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Classification, which she attained in 2003.

Paul's appointments and awards include: East Tennessee Meeting Professional (ETMP) - Supplier of the Year; Tennessee Society of Association Executives (TSAE) - 2002 Tradeshow Chair; ETMP - Secretary 2002-2004; Society of Government Meeting Planners (SGMP) - Tourism Panelist; Tennessee Association of Convention & Visitor Bureau (TACVB) - Board Member; Governor's Conference on Tennessee Tourism - 2007 Panel Judge;

Most recently, Paul was named one of the newest members of the Rotary Club of Knoxville.
