The KTSC works hard to make every meeting attendee feel special. Knoxville has the right combination of location, facilities, and affordability, plus a strong commitment to customer service. We host groups of all types, sizes, interests and ages, from 50-member seminars with Oak Ridge National Laboratory to 16,000 athletes with the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
Our meeting planning experts have the experience, expertise and resources to make any meeting or event an unqualified success. Some of the many ways the KTSC can help include:
- Negotiating contracts for venues, services and rates
- Blocking rooms, establishing reservation systems
- Developing transportation options and providing support resources such as radios, coolers or additional chairs
- Planning staffing
- Obtaining referrals for local service providers for everything from catering to photography
- Enhancing event with creative assistance in planning off-site events and tours, including business, custom or themed tours
- Providing visitor guides and Knoxville area maps, assisting with registration, information booths and event volunteers
