Golf with us for a great cause! East Tennessee Military Association (ETMA) Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its 1st Annual Armed Forces Golf Challenge to be held on Monday July 14, 2008, at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Rockford, TN. The day's events will begin with registration at 7:30 am.
ETMA is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that is a member owned financial institution chartered in 1956 to serve military personnel at McGhee-Tyson Air Base. In our efforts to help the local community and in keeping the volunteer sprit, ETMA is hosting this event to benefit the Blount County Children's Advocacy Center (New Hope). This inaugural event will assist in our fundraising effort to provide New Hope with as much financial support as possible.
Child sexual abuse is all around us in American homes and communities. Five hundred
thousand children are sexually abused each year. What that huge number means is that one in five girls and one in seven boys will be sexually abused before age 18. You can help protect their only childhood by partnering with ETMA & New Hope to help assist countless numbers of children and families cope with the pain and trauma of child sexual abuse.
