Historic Homes Tour
A choice of sites will be offered and KAT buses will provide transportation. Route A will begin at James White's Fort, move on to the Ramsey House with a final stop at Marble Springs, the home of Tennessee's first Governor.
Route B will begin at Blount Mansion, Knoxville's only national historic landmark, move on to the Mabry-Hazen House with a final stop at Crescent Bend. Each bus will have a tour guide who will discuss additional points of interest, history and famous landmarks in and around Knoxville.
Tours will begin at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for each route and last three hours. Guest parking will be available at the point of origin for each tour. Tours are by reservation only.
Tickets for the tours are $15/person and may be purchased through Knox Heritage by calling 865-523-8008 or purchasing online at www.knoxheritage.org. Make your reservations early as these tours will quickly sell out!
