Whether you are playing from the par 71, 4,781-yard front tees to the par 70, 5,729-yard back tees, the classic design has Penncross Bent grass greens that vary in undulation, and sloping fairways that are a mixture of Common and 419 Bermuda grass. Hole Number 7 - our signature hole - is a 405-yard, par 4 from the back tees, and requires the golfer to make a decision whether to try and cut off the dogleg right and drive down the hill or play safe and lay-up on top at the end of the dogleg.  Either decision will require a good second shot up hill to hit the wide but narrow green. Par is a good score on this hole. Whittle Springs Golf Course provides a full service golf shop featuring Callaway, Odyssey, Top Flite, Ping, and apparel from Divots. Lessons and clinics are available upon request.  Food and beverages are available from the snack bar and beverage cart.  Home to the Whittle Springs Men's Golf Association which holds a weekly Tuesday evening nine hole SWAT.
