Knoxville to welcome even more motorcycle enthusiasts
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – For years, Knoxville has been home to auto shows and rallies such as the Honda Hoot, F-100 Supernationals and the NSRA Street Rod Nationals South. In 2007, Knoxville will welcome yet another show: the Knoxville Motorcycle Show and Expo/Motor Sports Show and Expo.
More than 10,000 attendees are expected at this first-year event that will take place Jan. 6-7 at the Knoxville Convention Center (KCC). The show will feature all brands of motorcycles, custom built motorcycles, and custom built cars and trucks. Motorcycle and other automobile dealers and vendors from all over Tennessee will also be present.
Approximately 50 awards will be given out during the course of the weekend to the top motorcycles, trucks and cars in each class and all winners will receive an Epiphone Guitar.
“We chose to bring this new event to Knoxville because of the hospitable people and beautiful scenery. I am so excited to expand to East Tennessee and cater to the large number of motorcycle dealers in the area,” said Bobby Appleton, Owner of Bad Apple Productions, the company responsible for producing the show.
Event hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The show is open to the public and tickets will only be sold Saturday and Sunday at the KCC doors. Tickets are $10 for adults and children ages 12 and up and $5 for children ages six through 12. Children ages five and under are admitted free.
