Spades Tournament comes to Knoxville
The Spades Connection will bring its Live Spades Tournament to Knoxville for the first time, holding the event at the Holiday Inn-Select Downtown hotel March 12-15.
This “laid-back” tournament features a weekend full of Spades games, with no minimum or maximum limit on how many games may be played. It is not uncommon for several players to play more than 40 games of Spades throughout the weekend. Prizes will be awarded throughout the tournament to winners.
The event is open to the general public. Registration is $125 per person at the door, which includes game fees and three meals at the hotel.
The Spades Connection was founded in September 2000 by a group of friends who wanted to form an organization that promotes competitive card playing while nurturing new friendships as well as rekindling old ones. The Spades Connection produces the longest-running Spades event in history.
