Cats strut their stuff in Knoxville

CATS are coming to Knoxville, and we don’t mean the Broadway musical! Get ready for lots of meows and a little purring when the 32nd annual “Springtime in Tennessee” Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) Cat Show comes to Knoxville’s Chilhowee Park on Saturday, March 28!

Approximately 225 pedigreed cats and 20 household cats will make up the 25 different breeds of cats that will strut around Chilhowee Park’s Jacob Building. This family-friendly event will also feature more than 15 vendors with cat-themed novelty items and supplies.

The CFA Cat Show is open to the public. Individuals who do not have pedigreed cats but want to participate in the show may enter their pet into the Household Pets Division.

Event hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 28. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and students.
