Meeting planners to enjoy Knoxville
An elite group of meeting planners who are interested in bringing business to the area will tour Knoxville’s venues, hotels, restaurants and attractions April 16-19 as the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corporation (KTSC) hosts its spring familiarization tour (FAM).
Traveling from Washington, D.C., Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia and Wisconsin, the planners will experience the city first-hand, in hopes of booking a possible future convention or meeting in Knox County.
In addition to touring the Knoxville Convention Center and area hotels, FAM attendees will visit attractions such as the Market Square District, East Tennessee History Center, Sunsphere, Knoxville Museum of Art and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
