KTSC launches “Capture the Best of Knoxville” Photography Contest
In celebration of National Tourism Week, May 9-17, the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corporation (KTSC) is hosting a “Capture the Best of Knoxville” Photography Contest.
The KTSC is looking for the best photograph that represents tourism in Knoxville. The photo could be of a Knoxville attraction, event, or scenic area, among other entities.
Those interested are encouraged to submit their photos May 9-17 on KTSC’s Flickr “Capture the Best of Knoxville” group webpage, online at http://www.flickr.com/groups/capturethis. On May 18, the KTSC staff will choose one photograph that demonstrates the best of Knoxville’s tourism industry.
The winner of the contest will receive a one-year Flickr pro account, and the winning photograph will be displayed in Knoxville’s Visitor Center and online at www.Knoxville.org May 20-31.
Also in celebration of National Tourism Week, the Knoxville Visitor Center’s Uniquely Knoxville gift shop will provide a 15% discount on all prints and photographs through the end of May.
The “Capture the Best of Knoxville” Photography Contest is open to anyone and everyone. Photos must be family-friendly. One photo per participant may be submitted.
