Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson to visit Knoxville

2004 Olympic gold medalist gymnast, Carly Patterson, will be coming to Knoxville. She was the women’s all-around champion and darling of the Games in Athens. Now she is a singer (Pop) and coming to Knoxville on Tuesday, October 6th to promote her new CD, “Back to the Beginning.”


Carly’s CD is now available throughout the USA including iTunes and Napster. You can even view her new MTV video at http://www.carlypattersonmusic.com/. Her music is all kid friendly. Many music fans got to see Carly’s first TV music performance on ABC’s (& Simon Cowell’s) show “Celebrity Duets” in 2006 where she sang with James Ingram, Lee Ann Womack, Anita Pointer, and Jesse McCartney.


Carly will sing on WBIR-TV’s “Live at Five” on the afternoon of the 6th. She will be visiting Children’s Hospital in Knoxville at 1:00pm to sign autographs and visit patients.


From 6:00-8:00pm on October 6th, she will be visiting Premier Athletics (5331 Western Avenue, Knoxville - for information phone 588-2105) to sign autographs and sell copies of her latest CD ($10 each with $2 going to Children’s Hospital). The public is encouraged to attend.
