More than 120 visitors are expected to travel to Knoxville for the Tennessee Body-for-Life Club’s annual fitness conference October 12-14 at various local venues.
The fitness conference offers many scheduled events including group dinners, fitness competitions, group workouts and fun ways to be active such as a belly dancing lesson.
Event attendees include champion winners from previous years and speakers such as Denise Taylor, a fitness competitor and tri-athlete and Chris Elliott, an author and Body-for-Life guest book personality, among many others.
The beginning of the conference on Friday offers opportunities for attendees to meet other fitness enthusiasts enjoying the conference and enjoy a group dinner. The conference offers a full day of exercise Saturday, starting with a group morning workout at The Rush. The day continues with afternoon seminars, group fitness competitions and amusements around Knoxville such as the walking trails and golfing.
The conference is a sure way to get fit, get inspired, meet new people and have fun. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of fitness merchandise such as workout gear and videos will be donated to the charity in honor of Julie Whitt, a past group member.
