The Knoxville Visitor Center's Gift Shop, located in downtown Knoxville, is the place to find locally made pieces like pottery, paintings, candles and more. Also, while shopping for personal gifts or presents, you can take a break and get something to eat or drink from The Coop Cafe, which is located directly next to the gift shop, or listen to live music every weekday at noon compliments of the Knoxville Visitor Center.
Knoxville’s downtown Visitor Center is no ordinary “grab-a-brochure-and-go” kind of place. Stop in any day of the week for refreshing gourmet coffees, freshly baked goods and locally made crafts – not to mention the free WDVX Blue Plate Special, a daily, live, noon-time performance of Americana music.
• Uniquely Knoxville gift shop featuring locally made arts and crafts
• The Coop Cafe serving coffees and meals including breakfast, lunch, sweets & treats
• Home of WDVX Studios – East Tennessee’s own Americana/roots radio station. Enjoy free, live, daily music at noon with the Blue Plate Special
• Free Wi-fi
• Staffed information desk
• Free area maps and parking
The Knoxville Visitor Center is run by the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corporation. The KTSC is your one stop shop for Knoxville information and meeting needs. For more information call Teresa Hall at 865-342-9118.
