Ramsey House Plantation

Completed in 1797 for Col. Francis A. Ramsey, a pioneer settler of Knoxville. Built of local limestone and marble, this Georgian-style home is furnished with period antiques reflecting the life of Ramsey and his family. With over 100 acres, the site hosts picnic areas and heirloom gardens for guests to visit. Location rentals are also available for any event you can imagine. This beautiful property is ideal for weddings and receptions, reunions, garden parties, meetings, seminars and lectures, and our guided tours can accommodate both small and large groups.
