Kuumba Festival (June 28 - 29)
Demonstrating the shared heritaged of the African, African American and African Appalachian communities in disapora and showing how this heritage is an integral part of the culture of East Tennessee. The festival showcases visual arts, folk arts, dance, theater, music, storytelling, games and food. The name "Kuumba" means creativity in Swahili.
