Knoxville is home a number of performing arts groups including the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra, the Knoxville Opera Company, the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus and the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra - the longest continually performing symphony orchestra in the Southeast. Performances are held at a variety of venues including Knoxville’s historic theatres.
